BreastScreen Victoria is recruiting Nurse Practitioners to deliver women’s healthcare in our new Women’s Health Mobile Clinic. This 12-month pilot project is trialing a nurse-led mobile clinic that aims to increase access to women’s healthcare for women of all ages living in rural and regional Victoria. The clinic will operate from our mobile breast screening van which provides breast screening to women in rural Victoria.
We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to provide best-practice sexual and reproductive healthcare and general women’s health and wellbeing consultations to clients visiting the Women’s Health Mobile Clinic. The service aims to provide a high-quality, culturally safe and inclusive healthcare experience for women and people with a cervix of all ages.
The role is a casual position, however, if you are interested in other alternatives please be in touch. The mobile clinic will visit locations for periods from one week to five weeks. A travel away from home allowance is paid. The shifts will generally be 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Friday, with slightly varied start and finish times to align with our mobile breast screening service schedule. There may be some weekend shifts.
