If this sounds like you, we’re looking for a motivated and passionate Internal Communications Coordinator to join the BreastScreen Victoria team in Carlton on a full-time ongoing basis.

The role of Internal Communications Coordinator role at BreastScreen Victoria is a key member of the Communications and Client Engagement team (C+CE), who is relied upon to build relationships, work to tight deadlines and contribute to our strategic and team goals.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in writing, producing and delivering visually engaging and innovative content to audiences across various communication channels and platforms, including our intranet site and our newsletters. Additionally, this role overseas corporate communication, including development and distribution of our annual and financial reports, and other strategic organisational documents.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the BreastScreen Victoria team and to lead exciting internal communications initiatives. Your ability to build and nurture strong relationships with staff from across the state and within the BreastScreen Coordination Unit will see you thrive in this role.

The work you will do, will contribute to reducing the impact of breast cancer and save lives through early detection.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A tertiary degree in communications, marketing or a related field and/or demonstrated success in a similar role.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for crafting compelling content.
  • Experience in planning, creating, and managing content across various channels, demonstrating your ability to engage audiences.
  • Capability of leading communications programs with multiple stakeholders and partners from across the organisation.
  • Proactive and self-starting approach, excelling both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with staff at all levels, fostering positive relationships.
