ABOUT THE JOB

The Finance and Corporate Services Officer is responsible for financial management, contract management and continuous improvement, corporate governance, high level HR and ICT administration.

The position is a leadership role within the organisation and works with the CEO and administrative team to ensure the efficient delivery of financial and corporate services across the organisation.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or equivalent with knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and demonstrated high level of experience performing a range of accounting and bookkeeping functions, including (but not limited to) accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other financial management/bookkeeping tasks including reporting with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience providing project management, administration, and related support tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse, interpret and report on financial information, trends and issues.
  • Experience in developing budgets.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and foster teamwork and collaboration across an organisation.
  • Well-developed written skills and ability to prepare quality reports and recommendations and communicate technical information in an easily understood manner.
  • Strong business ethics and confidentiality.
  • High level of proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel and a good working knowledge of IT systems and processes.
