Interplast Australia & New Zealand (Interplast) was founded in 1983 and is a not-for-profit development organisation, which provides volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgery services, alongside health capacity-building activities to developing Asia Pacific countries.
Interplast works to improve the lives of people living with a disability as a result of congenital and acquired medical conditions such as cleft lip and palate or burn scar contractures. Volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and allied health professionals provide patient care, education and training for the local workforce.
The successful candidate will lead Interplast with an exemplary track record of results-based outcomes, engaging adeptly with stakeholders including governments, clinicians, and volunteers.
A people-focused leader and agile thinker with strong stakeholder management skills will be ideal to sustain a culture of innovation and enablement with a focus on positive, systemic change.
