PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To enhance the viability and sustainability of Mulleraterong on behalf of its participants.

The role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is to lead, inspire and mentor the Executive Management Team (EMT) whilst overseeing the management of day-to-day operations, its people and its resources. The CEO is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company and will closely coordinate and work with the Board and EMT.

The CEO will oversee and implement the strategy approved by the board and ensure that the organisation’s structure and processes meet and exceed the strategic and cultural needs that fulfil the organisation’s vision, mission and trademark.

JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS

  • Formal Tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience
  • A contemporary knowledge of good governance and the ability to work effectively with a Board, providing high level strategic and policy advice
  • Demonstrated track record of commercial and financial acumen, and strategic and analytical skills, including accountability for organisational growth, as well as day-to-day business operations, financial management, corporate governance, and risk management, ensuring the long-term viability of the organisation
  • Commercial experience in the provision of products and/or services
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of the NDIS and disability system in Australia
  • Understanding of corporate legal responsibilities within the not-for-profit sector
  • Gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity
