Bridges Connecting Communities is seeking to employ a seasonal CEO to provide leadership in the execution of Bridges mission whilst leading the organisation into the future. The role involves the day-to-day operations of the business. HR, Asset & Finance management, retaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and Board support to strengthen governance and compliance processes.

ABOUT US:

Bridges is a highly respected NFP charity that has been operating since 1975 supporting our senior and disability community of Knox and South West Yarra Ranges. Bridges workforce consists of 15 wonderful staff and a volunteer base of 250 beautiful people delivering services to support our client’s independence, fostering socialisation and a mobility solution for transport disadvantaged people. Bridges aims to deliver a high standard of services to promote healthy active ageing.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position involves:

• overseeing the day-to-day operations of Bridges which includes HR, Asset & Financial management
• administration support to the Board to strengthen governance and compliance processes
• retaining strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders to preserve the high reputation of Bridges in the community

ABOUT YOU:

You will be a driven and passionate leader who works in the best interest of Bridges. Ideally you will have a tertiary education or equivalent Human Services discipline or business degree. You will be responsible and accountable to Bridges Board of Directors.

You will have extensive experience in the below areas as they are your key responsibilities:

• Strategy planning and Development
• Leadership, Management & Administration
• Promotion, Education and Information
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Stakeholder engagement
• Board reporting
