Team Leader, Housing (Permanent - Full-time)

The Team Leader, Housing is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality client services to the tenants in their respective portfolio by leading and managing their Housing team, maintaining excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and ensuring adherence to the internal and legislative policy, procedures and KPI's the team is working within. There is a responsibility for special programs, e.g. transitional housing and unique partnerships.

What does the day to day include?

  • Support the ongoing success of Bridge Housing and the Housing and Community team by assisting with the development and implementation of the business and operational plans and related programs and projects.
  • Ensure and support high quality service provided within the frameworks, Customer Service standards, policies and procedures
  • Assist to drive the company culture and performance through effective management and leadership practices that attracts and retains high quality staff, managing performance and developing employee capability and skills required to achieve the team's and wider business goals.
  • Support continual improvement and development services
  • Increase the profile and reputation of Bridge Housing by building strategic networks and partnerships, attending industry forums and being an active member of the community housing sector

Who are we looking for?

  • Expert knowledge of social housing and homelessness,
  • Expertise in managing and coaching team or peers to drive performance
  • Be able to create and maintain strong networks and relationships within Social or Community Housing industry
  • Demonstrated experience with achieving key performance indicators (such as tenant satisfaction and sustainment)
  • Above all else, our Team Leaders will be values-aligned and support our mission to changing our customers' lives through providing homes!
