Brain Train is a rapidly growing allied health service supporting children with autism and other neurological challenges. We provide services in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne to over 500 children and adults. Our foundational program is based on sensorimotor integration and our network of therapies includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Family Support , Early Childhood Intervention, Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology. We are looking for energetic, engaging and enthusiastic therapists to deliver our foundational sensorimotor integration and neurodevelopmental program. You will receive all the training you need in sensorimotor and neurodevelopmental supports and over time will have the opportunity to use your knowledge, skill and experience to help children meet more advanced goals.

Looking outside the square! Providing innovative, transformational therapies to support autism and neurodevelopmental differences
Providing interventions to target reflex and sensorimotor integration whilst considering an individual’s sensory processing strengths and challenges, self-regulation, and motor differences
Facilitating functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualised goals
Implementing, monitoring and reviewing treatment plans
Conducting Neurodevelopmental Efficiency Tests to determine baseline and post-treatment data
Providing written assessment and reports and case notes for all clients
Together with all staff you will have a shared and overriding responsibility to support the company’s clients and their parents, carers and guardians during all contact points with the Company
Compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct
A relevant tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Counselling
Appropriate Registration with ESSA (AEP), AHPRA or the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors Inc.
Police checks and working with children accreditation
First aid and CPR accreditation
This is a hands-on and active role. You will regularly be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift.
Demonstrated history of positive interaction with children with special needs or complex challenges
Demonstrate intuition, and have high levels of energy, engagement and enthusiasm
Week end or Week day - Casual, Permanent Part Time or Full Time opportunities available
