We are offering the opportunity to join our team, assisting disabled, aged and frail clients to remain living in their own homes.

Providing support to a range of clients around the east, inner west and St George/Sutherland areas we are seeking additional experienced and compassionate support workers to assist with covering rosters.

• We can offer a minimum guaranteed 25 hrs per week (although most of our staff work longer hours)
• Leave and other entitlements are accrued according to hours worked
• Travel time and km reimbursement is paid between clients

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of your clients’ daily living routine, ranging from supporting them to develop and maintain independence in personal care, health and hygiene, assisting with domestic duties and helping with engagement and participate in the community.

Please note, we receive many short services, and frequent emergency bookings, which we require our staff to cover around their regular, on-going and longer services. Domestic assistance is part of the role at times and we only want those that are willing to cover these needs as part of their roster.

Essential requirements

• Certificate III in disability, community or aged care
• Current work rights
• A minimum of 3 months recent paid experience working locally in the community
• Evidence of having received full Covid vaccination cover
• First Aid Certificate
• Manual Handling competency evidence (or willingness to complete an on-line course)
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and/or
  NDIS Worker’s Check
• Must reside within the territory for easy access to short bookings
• Available and dependable car for work, clean licence, fully insured
