Work as a graduate meteorologist through a 10-month intensive formal training program from late January to late November 2025.

Learn from some of Australia's leading scientists as you develop a deep knowledge of services for severe weather, marine and Antarctic environments, climate, water and volcanic ash prediction. A day in this role can include preparing and communicating weather forecasts for the public as well as specific users such as the emergency services sector.

The role includes working in a diverse team environment and using your initiative to solve problems and develop the skills needed to deliver impact and value to customers.
After successful completion of the training program, Graduates will advance to Broadband 2 classification with incremental salary advancements, as they gain professional experience and meet work performance expectations, ranging from $65,526 to $101,022 plus shift penalties and an additional 15.4% Superannuation.
