Body Safety Australia is a not-for-profit organisation promoting childhoods free from violence where children enjoy equitable and respectful relationships.

We deliver programs in early childhood education and schools. Our programs include abuse prevention, respectful relationships and sexuality education and cyber safety.

We celebrate children and young people from all family structures, cultures and faiths, genders and sexualities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will be sitting in the driver's seat of our enquiries and bookings process - you will often be a person's first introduction to Body Safety Australia. The role involves high attention to detail and time management, as the lion's share of duties are around scheduling, balancing availabilities and working with our clients' needs. This role suits a self-motivating person interested in supporting a small charity that is in a stage of growing its team and its reach. This will require someone who is thinking one step ahead and is working to achieve their own goals, as well as support their fellow team members to reach theirs.

Position will be located at our office based in North Melbourne, with flexibility to work from home one day per week after the probation period.

Core duties include:

Customer Service

  • Triaging, responding to and allocating new enquiries
  • Preparing and distributing booking documentation
  • Execution of enquiries/bookings processes

Administration Support

  • Maintaining relevant inboxes
  • Processing, handling and shipping resource orders
  • Data entry and CRM maintenance
  • Digital filing and data integrity
  • Miscellaneous office and marketing support tasks

WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO:

  • Are genuinely passionate about being change makers
  • Are an excellent communicator with great written and phone skills
  • Have experience with, and passion for, providing a positive bookings experience for our communities
  • Are familiar with the administrative and support needs of an office and remote-working team
  • Have a current Working with Children Check and agree to undergo a police check
  • Have an understanding of primary prevention education and the critical issues associated with sexual and family violence
