The Banyule Nillumbik Local Learning and Employment Network (BNLLEN) works across the local government areas of Banyule and Nillumbik with 20 local secondary schools and a range of local employers/businesses, community organisations and service clubs, local councils and volunteers.

Our vision is to create a community of job ready young people. Our mission is to facilitate further education, training and employment outcomes for young people in local secondary schools in partnership with the above-mentioned stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This management role will support the organisation to plan, implement and execute the organisations strategic plan and required outcomes to support local young to become work ready.

The role will involve staff management, and oversight on a range of programs and projects that ensures that mutually beneficial outcomes are created for all the stakeholder partners involved and that young people gain a world of work experience as a result of the initiatives, hopefully leading to employment related outcomes for young people.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking someone with experience in a related field with staff management and an understanding of developing and maintaining local cross sector partnerships.

An understanding of the current secondary school reforms and vocational education would be advantageous for the candidate wishing to apply.
