This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing, purpose-driven organisation that empowers young people and strengthens communities across Victoria.
BLV delivers youth engagement programs across Victoria, working closely with police, emergency services, schools, and community organisations, helping young people build resilience, develop life skills, and stay connected.
As Treasurer, you will play a key role in financial oversight, risk management, and strategic planning, ensuring BLV’s long-term sustainability and impact. This is a voluntary position, requiring active participation and attendance at bi-monthly Board meetings and membership in the Governance, Risk and Finance Sub-Committee.
We are seeking candidates with expertise in finance, risk management, and fundraising, who are passionate about supporting young people. Prior governance experience and an understanding of not-for-profit financial management will be highly regarded. Graduates of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course are encouraged to apply.
For enquiries, please contact Michelle Arundel (BLV Chair) at [email protected] or Carolyn McSporran (BLV Company Secretary) at [email protected] using the subject line: Treasurer / Non-Executive Director (Voluntary) enquiry via EthicalJobs.
