BirdLife Australia is on a mission to put birds and nature on the path to recovery within a decade. With over 350,000 supporters, donors, volunteers, campaigners and members, you will join over 150 staff across Australia, and a network of more than 40 voluntary community groups. Together, our growing network of people stand together to help us protect Australia’s unique birdlife.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of the marketing and sales strategy to support BirdLife Australia’s mission. This will involve the delivery of integrated campaigns that generate awareness, action and revenue that build momentum towards protecting Australia’s threatened birds from extinction.
To be successful in this role, you will need relevant academic qualifications in a marketing-related discipline, together with strong leadership, organisational planning and team management skills, and demonstrated experience in developing and delivering successful marketing and sales strategies. Experience in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in conservation or environmental organisations is desirable, as is experience in a membership-based organisation, together with good financial acumen.
This is an ongoing, full-time position (1.0 FTE). Please note, that this is a hybrid position working in a home-based environment and in the national office in Carlton, Victoria.
