We are looking for a Communications and Media Adviser to support our Communications and Engagement team.
In this exciting new role, you will develop and nurture national and local media contacts, maintain an active contact database, manage reactive media enquiry handling and schedule media talent.
Working with multiple teams across conservation, campaigns and communications the role will assist in identifying communications objectives, key audiences and the best channels to reach them.
As well as developing messaging and proactive communication and media plans, this role will work across BirdLife Australia’s staff and volunteer networks to support media spokespeople, shape stories and pitch them to appropriate outlets.
This is a full-time role (1 FTE) based in Melbourne offered on a continual contract which comes with an attractive salary starting from $81,548 per annum plus 11% super.
