This role sits within the Aboriginal Health team located within University Hospital who support and advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander inpatients and their families.
This role is a leadership role in public health to prioritise Aboriginal health and wellbeing outcomes.
Barwon South West Public Health Unit is seeking a passionate, dedicated and driven Aboriginal Health Lead to join our dynamic team.

This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent through parentage, identify as an Aboriginal person and/or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted in the community as such.
Barwon Health’s Public Health Unit is focused on servicing the Barwon South West region’s COVID-19 response and facilitation, with focus on the COVID 19 Immunisation program, communicable and chronic diseases to improve public health to the entire region.
