About The Role

Anglicare is looking for a Team Leader - Intensive Family Preservation & Restoration to lead and develop the Family Preservation and Restoration Case Managers and manage the day to day operations of the program

This is a Maximum Term (till June 2026), Full Time role based at Summer Hill.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Staff Support: Provide supervision, development, and training to staff.

  • Family Needs: Ensure case managers conduct thorough assessments and develop case plans within the Parents Under Pressure Program framework. Review and escalate reports for approval.

  • Program Fidelity: Engage in Parents under Pressure Training to become an accredited Therapist and Supervisor.

  • Integrated Programs: Implement systems and processes to ensure Family Preservation and Restoration programs work seamlessly with other Anglicare Community Services programs.

  • DCJ Targets: Monitor data entry, prepare monthly progress reports, and attend meetings with DCJ officials.

  • Quality Care: Assist in recruiting and supervising qualified staff and volunteers, including student placements.

  • Community Relations: Develop relationships with government and non-government services, local communities, and churches.

  • Budget Management: Monitor and review budget in consultation with the Senior Program Manager.

  • Compliance: Conduct regular reviews, audits, and evaluations to meet organisational and regulatory requirements.

  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date client documentation and statistical information in the client management database.

  • Professional Development: Attend relevant training and professional development activities.

  • Leadership: Provide aligned and capable leadership, model organisational values, and develop staff.

  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage incidents.

  • Continuous Improvement: Review and implement policies and procedures for program improvement.

  • Respectful Environment: Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment, valuing diversity and cultural backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, or counselling.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Previous experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience in case management working with vulnerable families and children.
  • Demonstrated skills in child protection and Family Preservation and Restoration practices and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
