About the role:
We are seeking an experienced permanent full time or part time 4 days per week, Team Assistant to join our Finance and Legal & Governance teams.
In this role you will be contributing to the efficient and effective functioning of the Finance and Legal & Governance teams by effectively undertaking administration tasks and activities. You will be working closely with Anglicare’s Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel and their teams, liaising with stakeholders and providing information to them with best practice customer service whilst maintaining a high level of discretion.
As a Team Assistant, Key responsibilities include:
- Administrative requirements of Finance and Legal & Governance teams are delivered to a high standard, including helping producing correspondence, board papers, presentations and reports
- Efficient operation of administrative processes within the Finance and Legal & Governance teams.
- General administrative duties (emails, calendar management, record keeping, purchasing, etc.) are completed to a high standard by organising and completing the tasks in a professional, thorough and timely manner
- Help to ensure the effective running of meetings, training sessions and other events for the Finance and Legal & Governance teams
- Ensures that effective relationships and an excellent customer service mindset is maintained with all stakeholders
- Maintains effective networks with senior admin personnel across the organisation
- Contributes to a culture that is consistent with Anglicare’s Christian values by personal conduct and performance of the role in a way that is consistent with Anglicare’s values
About You:
- Relevant administration qualifications or experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft suite – Word, Powerpoint, Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable with learning on the fly, and prioritising work requirements
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- A positive “can do” attitude, a proactive approach, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
