 About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Case Manager to join our Early Intervention team on a full-time basis for a Maximum Term until April 2026, the role will be based at Parramatta.

 As a Senior Case Manager, your main purpose will be to provide case management and group work support to children and families who have experienced domestic/family violence.

 Key responsibilities: (not limited to)

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about working with families and children and who is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for people. The following skills and attributes will greatly contribute to your success in this role:

  • Ensures that assessments and case plans are prepared using ARACY 's The Common approach by engaging clients in the development of their plan.
  • Ensures that all parties are involved in implementing the current case plan by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities and by actively monitoring risks and/or progress towards agreed case plan goals.
  • Ensures that individual needs of clients are met by providing a case plan that is developed with the client, is clearly defined and with achievable outcomes and reviewed every 3 months.
  • Ensure group work is conducted for clients and their families are meeting client needs by ongoing review and evaluation.
  • Ensures documentation meets organisational, legislative and funding requirements by completing and maintaining appropriate client documentation and statistical information.
  • Ensures ongoing professional development by attending relevant internal and external consultations, training, forums, courses and other professional development activities as agreed with Manager.
  • Contribute to the safety culture by keeping the workplace safe, clean and tidy, complying always with safe work practices, participating in workplace consultation activities, actively participating in safety activities, including hazard and incident reporting as prescribed in the WHSIMS.

About you:

  • Diploma in community services, university qualification in social work or psychology
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a case manager in Family Support
  • Unrestricted NSW Drivers licence essential
  • Demonstrated skills in assessment and casework
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership & mentoring
  • Knowledge of child protection and family support processes
  • Experience working with families where there is domestic/family violence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A current Working with Children's Check Clearance or willingness to obtain
