About the Role
We are seeking a Casual Physiotherapist Aide to join our Physiotherapy team. You will play a vital role in improving the physical mobility and quality of life for our residents in our Senior Communities Village, by following personalised routines and reporting changes, all while supporting physiotherapy services.
Responsibilities
- Empathy & Respect: Treat all clients/residents with empathy and dignity, empowering them to live their daily lives uniquely and joyfully.
- Therapy Support: Assist with individual and group therapy programmes as directed by physiotherapists.
- Documentation: Provide relevant documentation to aid in the development of care plans.
- Observation & Reporting: Report changes in residents'/clients' behaviour or abilities to the physiotherapist or manager.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with the care team, carers, managers, physiotherapists, and workplace trainers.
- Family Communication: Communicate effectively with family members to ensure satisfaction.
- Safety Culture: Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workplace, adhering to safe work practices and participating in safety activities.

Qualifications and Experience
- APA Physiotherapy Assistants course (Desirable).
- Experience as a Carer (Desirable).
- Previous experience in healthcare or disability support roles.
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
- Familiarity with physiotherapy techniques and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
