About the Role
As a Knowledge & Asset Analyst, you'll optimise knowledge management and asset tracking within IT Service Operations. Using ESM and ITSM frameworks, you'll enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and IT maturity. This 12-month contract suits a detail-oriented professional passionate about knowledge sharing, asset management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge base systems, ensuring IT teams have easy access to accurate, up-to-date information.
- Asset Management: Track and manage physical and digital IT assets, optimising their lifecycle and allocation to support IT operations.
- Service Improvement & Maturity: Identify and implement enhancements to knowledge and asset management processes, aligning with ITSM best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with IT leaders, service owners, and technical teams to ensure assets and knowledge resources are effectively used.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor key performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to improve knowledge sharing and asset utilisation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends in ITSM, knowledge management, and asset optimisation to drive service excellence.

You are an organised and analytical professional who thrives in optimising IT processes and enhancing service efficiency. Your ability to manage critical knowledge and IT assets, along with your stakeholder engagement skills, will be key to success in this role.
- Organised & Analytical: Expert in optimising IT processes and enhancing service efficiency.
- Knowledge & Asset Management: Skilled in critical knowledge capture and IT asset tracking.
- Data & Reporting: Proficient in analysing asset usage trends and knowledge base performance.
- ITSM & ESM Expertise: Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, service delivery, and asset lifecycle management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong in collaborating with IT teams, service owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in ITIL, Knowledge Management (KM Institute), or Asset Management (ISO 55001) is highly desirable.
- Experience in knowledge management, asset tracking, or ITSM within an IT service environment.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) and knowledge management systems.
