We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and continue our tradition of excellence.

About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, as the Hills Villages General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of our facilities.

This role manages 7 villages in the Hill’s area, most located in Castle Hill.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the villages, ensuring high-quality care and services, and fostering a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community for our residents.

Through strong leadership and operational excellence, you will contribute significantly to the growth and fulfilment of both residents and staff, while delivering on Anglicare's values, mission and strategic goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the facility, setting and achieving operational goals.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care, services, and support to residents.
  • Manage financial and budgetary aspects of the villages efficiently.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the villages, creating a sense of belonging and community.
  • Collaborate with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders to maintain a strong network of support and engagement.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, Hotel Management or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within Aged Care, Retirement Living, Hotel/Hospitality or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Aged Care regulations and industry best practices would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A passion for improving the quality of life for seniors in our community.
