As a Driver for the Food and Financial Assistance program, you will be assisting in all aspects of collection and distribution of donated goods and materials across the Anglican Sydney Diocese.

This role is a casual role based in Minchinbury, NSW. 

Key responsibilities (not limited to): 

• Complete food deliveries in a safe and efficient way  
• Loading and unloading the refrigerated trucks in a safe and hygienic manner
• Keeping food refrigerated and monitoring holding temperatures
• Keeping trucks in a clean condition, following all road rules, speed limits and Anglicare policies and procedures
• Contributes to the effectiveness of the team of Drivers by operating in a cooperative way
• Assisting other Drivers, delivering, and unloading the appropriate food to the correct destination on time.
• Contributes to the effectiveness of food distribution process by suggesting improvements, identifying hazards
• Contributes to the development of the safety culture

About you:

• Relevant NSW Driver Licence or equivalent.
• Understanding of HACCP Systems and Good Food Manufacturing Practices.
• Motivated and able to work independently
• Physically able to fulfil the requirements of the position
• Works well in a team
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Clean driving record and willingness to have a police check
• Enjoys meeting people and is community focused
• Covid19 vaccination is strongly recommended
