Anglicare have an exciting opportunity for a Counsellor - Men's Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) to join our Community Services team, located in Nowra, NSW

Are you a professional Counsellor or Case Manager who has a heart to serve the community?
Anglicare have a great opportunity for a Counsellor or Case Manager to join our Men's Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) based in Nowra. In this role you will be undertaking a range of Counselling and Group work services associated with the Men's Behaviour Change Program which aim to increase the well-being and safety of women and children.
This role is a Permanent role, could be either full time or part time.
Ensure the best possible outcome for clients is achieved by holding men accountable for their use of violence and supporting them to change their behaviour, establishing strong network links within local area in order to provide strong external referral pathways
Ensure the MBCP service is well known in the community by participating in developing resources that promote and advertise the service to clients, local forums and other community organisations
Ensure individual needs of clients are met by providing a case plan that is developed with the client, is clearly defined and with achievable outcomes
Ensure a full client caseload is maintained by working within funding guideline and program targets
Ensure documentation meets organisational, legislative and funding requirements by completing and maintaining appropriate client documentation and statistical information
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling or related behavioural sciences
NSW Drivers Licence and a full insured vehicle.
Registered with appropriate body: e.g.: PACFA for counselling or working towards registration
Graduate Certificate in Men's Behavioural Change Intervention or willing to enrol and obtain the Certification. (Anglicare is willing to support the successful candidate during the process of obtaining the Certification)
Training and clinical experience in working with perpetrators of domestic and family violence.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Previous demonstrated experience in assessment and counselling
Previous experience in group facilitation
