We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-time Counsellor to join our Parramatta based counselling team. The role includes counselling & psycho-educational services designed to support and strengthen families, individuals, children, and young people.

This is role is Permanent Part-Time, 2 days a week, based at Parramatta, with some service delivery in Mt Druitt.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Providing Counselling services, case work and group work programs to clients of Anglicare including individuals, families, adolescents and children.
  • Working alongside clients to develop case goals, with clearly defined and achievable outcomes
  • Ensuring full client caseload is maintained.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social work, Psychology or Counselling essential
  • Clinical membership (AASW, APS, PACFA etc)
  • Preferably 4+ years' clinical counselling experience working with children, young people and families
  • Willingness to work with across a range of programs and with diverse client base
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
