As a Care Worker Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a region-based Care Team within Anglicare At Home. Your role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred home care services, while managing team dynamics and ensuring compliance with organisational values and care standards.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Care Workers to deliver exceptional home care services to clients in line with Anglicare's mission and values. This includes ensuring high standards of person-centred care, fostering a culture of outstanding customer service, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures. The role also involves the supervision and development of staff, managing operational issues, and maintaining accurate records to support the effective delivery of services.

Permanent Full-Time position based in Anglicare Seniors Communities Village, Woolooware Shores, Taren Point.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Care: Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and oversee care plans.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support the Care Team, conduct performance evaluations.
  • Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety practices.
  • Operations: Manage service scheduling and staff coverage.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Safety: Ensure adherence to WHS policies and maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Aged Care/Community Services or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a team leader role within aged care or community services
  • Strong understanding of community-based aged care services
  • Experience with systems and technology applications relevant to care management
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
