About the Role

Anglicare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Allied Health Team Leader to join our Seniors Communities team on a permanent, full-time basis at Castle Hill. Reporting to the Care Operations Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary allied health team to deliver person-centred care, supporting residents' independence through restorative and chronic condition management. This role ensures compliance with the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards, and Anglicare's Christian mission.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Inspire and guide a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists to deliver empathetic care.
  • Foster a collaborative 'one team' culture across the village.
  • Conduct performance reviews and mentoring to build team capability.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with aged care standards and funding models.
  • Monitor KPIs and budgets to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a reduced client caseload to stay connected to service delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external health partners.
  • Promote the Allied Health team's services within the community.

Safety and Risk:

  • Champion a culture of safety, managing risks and incidents effectively.

Christian Care:

  • Uphold Anglicare's Christian mission and support spiritual care opportunities.

Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of Support at Home funding and aged care reforms.
  • Clinical decision-making and problem-solving.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • 5+ years' experience in aged care or community settings.
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Current driver's licence and computer skills.
