Join Anglicare as an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker and make a difference in the lives of people with mental health challenges.
As an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker, your main purpose will be to provide a range of case management, outreach and recovery-oriented supports to improve the mental health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people. Working in collaboration and partnership with local health and support organisations, you will aim to deliver mental health assessment, treatment, support, advocacy, and information services that prioritise cultural sensitivity and safety.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position, 3 days a week.
We are seeking a candidate who embodies a deep understanding and respect for the cultural traditions, beliefs, and practices of Indigenous communities, enabling effective communication and connection with clients and community.
