The Personal Assistant (PA) position provides administrative, financial, evaluation and research support for the company's consultancy and training work. The PA works under the immediate direction of Kathleen Stacey, as the Managing Director. The PA also needs to operate independently on specific tasks and follow direction from beyond… Associates where required.

This is a casual position equivalent to the requirements of an ASO3 position (the beyond… pay levels are guided by the SA State Public Sector Administrative Services stream although set ~10% higher). Hours will be negotiated according to tasks and availability at a minimum of 12 hrs/week initially up to 18 or more hrs/week depending on company workload. Conversion to a part-time contract will be considered at the first annual review.

If people applying have not had the opportunity to develop the skills, experience and knowledge required to take on all tasks at the ASO3 level, the position can be adapted for an ASO1 or ASO2 salary range with a revised set of tasks and responsibilities to match. If appointed at ASO1 or ASO2, access to professional development and mentoring will be offered so the person can develop into the ASO3 role over time.
