The Social Media Lead is accountable for developing and executing a scalable and sustainable organisation wide Social Media Strategy, to enable Beyond Blue to step change our impact in social channels, by removing noise and duplication of effort and having the right message, in the right social channel at the right time. With a passion for storytelling, it will lead the creation and deployment of compelling content across agreed social channels to deliver Beyond Blue’s objectives.
Lead the development of an organisation wide Social Media Strategy that integrates the requirements of brand and internal customers for optimised efficiency with a minimum six month planning horizon that identifies content pillars, messages, and target audiences for each agreed opportunity.
Drive innovation in storytelling formats and techniques to enhance emotional connection and engagement.
Develop, test and deploy contemporary, engaging branded content that drives higher engagement and optimises production efficiency, leveraging the latest research techniques and A/B testing to refine content prior to scaled deployment.
As the subject matter expert, provide clarity on the best approach to achieve campaign objectives including but not limited to which platform is optimal for the deployment of initiatives and messages, recommendations on organic versus paid investment and audience targeting.
Set KPIs that evaluate results based on an ROI for the investment of all resources, to understand the total economic impact of our activities and to ensure we are driving the desired attitudinal and behaviour change in our target audience, to increase their knowledge, and engage the community in action to achieve their best possible mental health.
Champion marketing best practise and actively support an innovation mindset. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and adopt the safe and responsible use of emerging technologies.
