About this Position

Are you well-seasoned People & Culture operations and insights lead that drives excellence, change and industry best practice?

We’re seeking a strategic culture builder and innovative leader to oversee critical functions including payroll, P&C systems, talent acquisition, vendor management, reporting, forecasting, governance, and special projects.

In this pivotal role, you’ll combine operational expertise with analytical insights, shaping a compelling and engaging employee experience. You’ll influence best practices, tackle complex challenges, and ensure alignment with organisational goals—all contributing to the success of Beyond Blue’s Strategy 2023+ “Earlier, Easier, Together”.

The role

In this role, you will:

  • Lead People Operations, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Oversee compliance, risk management, payroll, HR systems, data and insights, vendor relationships, P&C budgets.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Foster positive employee relations and oversee key talent management initiatives.
  • Develop and optimise remuneration, benefits, and workforce reporting.
  • Solve complex P&C challenges while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

About you

To be successful in this role, you would hold a:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate senior experience in HR, People & Culture, including leadership roles.
  • People focused, compassionate, with proven leadership experience in building culture, managing teams, and overseeing P&C functions.
  • Expertise in HRIS, data insights, and strategic direction for delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of policy development, compliance, employee relations, remuneration & benefits, payroll, and P&C systems.
  • Ability to propose solutions, innovate, drive change, align P&C strategies with organisational goals, driving business impact.
  • Futuristic in thinking with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for complex HR challenges.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence, including executive leadership.
  • Experience in managing change initiatives within HR or broader organisational contexts.
  • Knowledge of health services/NFP sector P&C challenges and best practices.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of evolving HR trends and regulations.
