The Role

We are looking for an NDIS Specialist to join our team. The NDIS Specialist is the “centre of excellence” for NDIS information, policies and procedures. You will support and engage with NDIS clients using the Better Caring platform. You will also support the Customer Engagement Team and wider business to better understand the NDIS.

The core role of the NDIS Specialist includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing support to NDIS clients, families and partner organisations to onboard and use the Better Caring platform via multiple channels including inbound calls, outbound calls and email
  • Being the go-to person for the Customer Engagement Team and wider business to get advice on how to address and solve more complex NDIS-related queries
  • Providing support and guidance to the Customer Engagement Team on incident management and resolution
  • Coordinating the development and maintenance of NDIS information and where appropriate, inform and train team members
  • Capturing important updates and changes in policy and disseminating information to relevant stakeholders and teams across the organisation

About You

  • You are great at using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • You love working in a small, collaborative team who enjoy having fun and supporting each other 

Your Background

  • You have a solid understanding of the NDIS and related national reforms
  • We would prefer you to have two years’ experience in a customer service role, ideally with the NDIA or similar organisation
  • Better Caring is a technology business therefore we love digitally savvy people and people who are curious to learn
  • You need to be confident in using Microsoft office products and Salesforce or can prove to us that you're quick to pick up systems
  • You are a good listener, problem solver, critical thinker and people's person
  • It goes without saying you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
