Can you bring the following to our team?

  • Minimum 2 years of disability experience
  • Capacity to work mid-week sleepovers (essential), other mid-week day shifts, and occasional weekend shifts
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • To hold or be willing to obtain a QLD Disability Worker Screening card and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • NDIS Orientation Training certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • And most importantly, a passion and enthusiasm to help young people with disability create the regular independent lives they deserve!

While not ‘must haves’, previous experience in the following will be a plus:

  • Personal care;
  • Use of alternative communication methods; and
  • Supporting people with complex behaviours.

  • 12 – 15 casual hours work across the week with the potential to progress to more hours and a permanent part time role for the right candidate.
  • Remunerated according to the SCHADS award including penalty rates. Hourly rate range $38-$77 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications, the day of the week and hour of the day/evening worked).
