The objective of the Side by Side Program is to support students in early primary school (Years 1 to 4) who are low attenders to close the gap on their attendance and learning.
The Side by Side program will offer whole of school training that is trauma-aware and culturally responsive for school staff, 1 to 1 student and family support and tutoring support to students who are behind academically.
This role will require travel to locations in Metro Melbourne & regional Victoria on a frequent basis to visit key stakeholders to manage the program.
The Program Manager will have oversight of the Side by Side program and will be responsible for reporting to the Joint Working Group consisting of representatives from Berry Street and VACCA’s Executive teams, Department of Education and Training, Department of Treasury and Finance and Social Ventures Australia (SVA).
