Berry Street is working towards Rainbow Tick Accreditation to ensure we are a safe, equitable and inclusive organisation for LGBTIQA+ service users and staff. We are seeking a youth and family worker with a commitment to social justice and a passion for working alongside young people to facilitate their participation and engagement in the things that matter to them. You will have experience in developing, facilitating, and evaluating services, programs and events for young people including those from diverse backgrounds/identities, particularly LGBTIQA+ service users.
Play a part in making a genuine difference for LGBTIQA+ children and young people and work in innovative ways to engage and provide opportunities for their participation in the things that matter to them. You will have a sound understanding of diverse communities specifically the LGBTIQA+ community and a passion for working collaboratively with children and young people. You will also have strong administrative skills and stakeholder engagement experience, and a Diploma or Bachelor of Youth/Social Work or Community Services or equivalent.
