Our House is a fee for service day respite and transport service that is staffed with Berry Street staff. It provides safe and positive day respite arrangements for children and young people.
This service caters for children and young people who are in Foster Care, Kinship Care, Residential Care, Intensive Case Management Service, Targeted Care Packages and Child Protection.
Support workers work alongside the child or young person on activities, community outings or transport from one placement to the next.
The Coordinator will be a part of the leadership team and provide support, supervision and direction to staff (as directed by the Team Leader or Senior Manager) and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement in the delivery of Out of Home Care Services to a diverse mix of clients with varying needs and challenges.
You will hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or related discipline, ideally with demonstrated leadership skills, in particular experienced in leading both employees and volunteers.
You will have past experience mentoring and supporting staff with professional development, along with strong administration skills.
