For over 140 years, Berry Street has adapted to a changing world, and we will continue to adapt to achieve our purpose. We believe children, young people and families should be safe, thriving and hopeful. Our Vision for 2022: Together we will courageously change lives and reimagine service systems. We look forward to working with children, young people, families, carers, staff and partners to achieve this vision. Together.
The Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) provides schools and community service organisations with the training, curriculum and strategies to engage students who struggle in the classroom—and proactively support all students for their learning and wellbeing. It is unique because the BSEM equips schools to promote cognitive and behavioural change, thereby engaging the young person in learning and progressing their academic achievement. The Berry Street Education Model is now being shared with mainstream and specialist schools.
The Business Development Consultant position is a key role supporting the BSEM through engaging and maintaining client relationships, along with contributing to the setting of sales and revenue targets and working diligently to meet them.
We are looking for a creative and motivated person who has a sound understanding of the Education sector, proven experience in developing and implementing business growth strategies and account management experience. You will have exceptional verbal and presentation skills, and have a high degree of initiative and a pro active approach. You will be a great collaborator and be excellent at creating and maintaining relationships.
