We're seeking a dynamic health clinician to lead the charge in expanding pharmacotherapy services across six Local Government Areas (LGA’s). This isn't your typical clinical role – you're building bridges, not just treating patients.

Your mission:

Transform how healthcare professionals deliver opioid replacement therapy by:

  • Championing pharmacotherapy prescribing in GP practices
  • Empowering community pharmacies to expand their services
  • Leading clinical networks and ECHO case presentations
  • Supporting the rollout of Long-Acting Injectable Buprenorphine

What you bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a health clinician
  • Advanced pharmacotherapy clinical experience
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Passion for system improvement and collaboration
  • Current driver's license (travel required across catchments)

Key Selection Criteria

Essential

  • A Health Clinician with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience and evidence of advanced clinical knowledge working in Pharmacotherapy clinical practice.
  • Knowledge of the pharmacotherapy policy, guidelines and associated legislation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of policy and practice as it relates to Pharmacotherapy.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills demonstrating a capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups in achieving collaborative outcomes.
  • Demonstrated highly developed written and verbal communication skills and proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and human rights in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Ability to demonstrate and display the values of Bendigo Community Health Services.
  • A current employee Working with Children Check and Driver’s Licence.
  • The successful applicant will also be required to undertake and complete a Satisfactory National Police Check.
