As the peak body for community Landcare in the NT, Landcare NT connects, supports, and empowers 25 Landcare groups and hundreds of volunteers working on the ground to care for land and water. Based just outside Darwin in Parap, our small, collaborative team works across urban, rural, and remote regions to protect native ecosystems, improve waterway health, and champion sustainable land management. We thrive on creativity, local knowledge, and a shared commitment to community-led conservation.
As Land & Water Management Coordinator, you'll drive the delivery of on-ground projects that restore landscapes and build ecological resilience. From revegetation and erosion control to community education and stakeholder collaboration, your work will directly support healthy Country and engaged communities.
You’ll coordinate conservation activities across varied sites and work closely with local Landcare groups, First Nations land managers, and government partners. Your focus will span practical implementation, project management, and strategic collaboration—ensuring projects are impactful, well-resourced, and aligned with broader environmental goals.
This is a flexible opportunity open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Landcare NT welcomes interest from professionals keen to work either independently or as part of a job-share arrangement.
You're an environmental professional with strong ecological knowledge and a track record in delivering hands-on land and water management projects. You work well with diverse communities and have a knack for bringing people together to achieve common goals.
