Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for people and a positive attitude to join our Believe Housing maintenance scheduling team. Using your strong customer service skills and person-centred approach to support and shape our tenant’s experience.

What can you expect to be doing?

As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will provide a responsive service to our tenants, raise works orders and respond to queries, as well as dealing with daily contract administration. You will be planning and scheduling resources to enable the team to conduct repairs and maintenance activities safely, minimising downtime, and maximising productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Prioritise customer service by responding effectively to customer enquiries, assisting with the arranging of appointments, and providing updates on works with a 'Right First Time' approach.
  • Investigate incoming maintenance calls and evaluate and schedule permitted repairs.
  • Communicate with property managers, maintenance staff, and vendors to schedule appointments and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Use effective quality control measures to ensure external contractors deliver works to agreed standards, within budget and KPI targets.
  • Deliver a maintenance service that provide real impact with customers at the centre
  • Accessing our data base and case noting during time of call 

What do you need to bring?

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar fast paced role within the industry or customer service role (preferred).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
