People and Culture Advisor – Workforce Development

Beaumont People are excited to be partnering with Wentworth Healthcare; a leading not-for-profit organisation who have been providing quality health services since its inception a decade ago. Wentworth Healthcare is the provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network.
Wentworth Healthcare work to improve health for the communities of Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith. They work by supporting general practice, funding (or commissioning) local health services, and integrating care from the local health system.
About the role
This newly created position is supported by Wentworth Healthcare’s commitment to develop, grow, and create career opportunities and pathways for their employees. The role supports the Manager People and Culture, along with the Executive and Management team to deliver on workforce planning and development strategies to achieve their people business goals and strategic objectives.
The role will help deliver meaningful strategies and actions as part of their career and leadership development framework whilst assisting to design and implement an organisation wide recruitment and retention strategy. The role will work closely with managers and staff at all levels to achieve employee growth, retention, and succession.
Outcomes of this position
- Design and implement a recruitment and retention strategy to attract new staff, whilst growing, developing, and retaining current staff.
- Deliver priorities and initiatives from our new Career and Leadership Development Framework.
- Align workforce planning tools and processes with our new Human Resources Information System.
- Support Executive Managers and Managers on effective workforce planning, career development, and succession planning strategies to support growth and learning.
- Create innovative ways to resource the organisation such as traineeships, partnerships and the development and delivery of actions identified in their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
- Commence development of a skills analysis to identify gaps and required skills within the organisation in alignment with our new strategic plan.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of formal training and professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing workforce planning and recruitment strategies working as a HR Advisor or Business Partner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- National Police Check before commencement then every 3 years.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Working with Children Check (if Appl.).
- This role may be subject to public health orders relating to a pandemic or other health emergency.
