Individual Giving Senior Coordinator

Beaumont People
  • Impactful & inspiring organisation, offering an amazing remote or hybrid working opportunity.
  • A chance to have real autonomy and leave a long standing, positive mark on the IG program.
  • Opportunity to line manage & work collaboratively with the team and agencies.

About the Organisation:

Work with a well-established national charity with a clear and compelling vision dedicated to supporting children and young people, backed by a passionate and technically proficient fundraising team.

The Role:

As the Individual Giving Senior Coordinator, you'll be the lead in coordinating the direct marketing appeals and acquisition programs. You'll work closely with the manager to help implement the individual giving growth strategy. Your fundraising skills will be aimed at acquiring, renewing, and upgrading the incredible donors and building the regular giving program.

As part of the Individual Giving and Community Fundraising Team, you'll also assist with project coordination, manage agency relationships, handle data like a pro, help with campaign planning, and support in content development. And, of course, you'll play a key role in donor stewardship and building strong relationships.

Your Focus Areas:

Direct Marketing and Revenue Generation: Be the architect of donor acquisition growth, thanks to a ongoing investment in direct marketing. Craft captivating campaigns for supporters through various channels like direct mail, digital, telemarketing, and email to help us exceed our income targets.

Planning and Reporting: Use your strategic thinking to plan the direct marketing program, enhance income for single and regular giving, and develop strategies to rekindle donors at risk of lapsing. Keep the team informed with regular reports and share your insights to help identify new fundraising opportunities.

Project Coordination: Keep the gears of the direct marketing retention and acquisition programs running smoothly. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure newsletters are engaging, timely, and well-coordinated.

Data Management and Administration: Assist in rolling out direct marketing campaigns, provide data insights, and ensure that everything runs like a well-oiled machine. Your attention to detail will shine as you prepare and verify data lists and contribute to data integrity projects.

Donor Stewardship: Be the guardian of the welcome process for new and existing donors. Your goal is to provide top-notch donor care and strategies to increase individual giving and reduce donor attrition.

Content Development: Collaborate with various teams to craft compelling stories, appeals, newsletters, and donor care updates. You'll also have the opportunity to create unique donor acknowledgments and ensure our content is as engaging as can be.

Team Leadership: Lead our internal donation processing and supporter relations team and inspire the Supporter Relations Officer to meet all deadlines and KPIs.

Relationship Management: Work your magic with agencies and consultants to develop fundraising material, liaise with external printers and mail houses, and rally all internal teams to amplify appeal messages.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in fundraising, marketing, or communications.
  • Previous experience in fundraising and/or similar with a proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build excellent working relationships with donors, supporters, agencies, and other team members.
  • Excellent copy-editing skills for content that appeals to a wide audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an authentic, warm, and professional approach.
  • Demonstrated passion for data analytics and CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce or a similar platform.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify and create improvements in new systems and processes.
  • Ability to project manage, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
