About the role

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Officer’s primary responsibility is providing administrative support to the HR team across the range of activities. You will be working alongside another HR Officer to provide support and guidance with a variety of HR related queries from internal employees and external partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the coordination of recruitment administration
  • Assist in the on boarding and off boarding and performance review processes and to inform change stake holders
  • Assist with organising induction sessions and conduction HR Induction sessions for new hires.
  • Organising and conduction exit interviews
  • Papering HR documentation related to the employment cycle in a timely manner, including offer and change letters in consultation with the HR Manager
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of HR projects and training seminars
  • Maintenance of employee and updating HR databases
  • Assist with general HR enquiries as directed, providing information on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in designing and producing regular statistical reports on HR information for management
  • Manage employee variations, annual appraisals and following up with staff members

About you

The client is looking for an ambitious and proactive addition to their HR team. Help deliver upon HR initiatives whilst providing high level administrative support on multiple HR matters.

  • Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail, especially with record keeping and data entry
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and understanding of when to escalate issues to the appropriate colleague
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Experience with working within a multidisciplinary organisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or substantial progress to obtaining one), is desirable

Additional requirements

  • The successful candidate will be required to complete both a National Police Records Check and a Working with Children Check.
