They work in more than 25 countries to help train and empower local eye doctors, nurses and health workers to create a sustainable system of care in the communities that need it most. They also provide equipment, fund research, and support advocacy to improve eye health.

About the Role and Responsibilities

The Donations and Database Coordinator – Regular Giving is responsible for managing the Foundations growing regular giving program and delivering first-class customer care to the foundation's supporters, stakeholders and internal teams by providing data and insights.

Your day will include management of the database (Raisers Edge), processing monthly donations and responding to enquiries by the foundation's supporters.

A typical day would look like:

  • Prepare and process monthly credit card and direct debit data for pledge runs and re-attempts
  • Manage the integrity of data with monthly donors and gifts
  • Quality check and import data from Face to Face fundraising agencies
  • Reconcile fundraising invoices and credit notes
  • Action and respond to enquiries via phone, email and mail
  • Assist with the efficiency and effectiveness of the database - Raisers Edge including assisting with the integrity of data
  • Respond to any disputes, complaints and feedback

Essential Requirements

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge database or a similar CRM platform
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building capabilities
  • A positive, energetic, and empathetic nature
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a close-knit team, with the skills to work autonomously when needed
  • Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent multitasking, time management and organisational skills, without losing attention to detail
  • Experience within an office administration or data entry role, employment within the sector is desirable

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a National Police Check (PC) and Working With Children’s Check (WWCC).
