The Leprosy Mission Shop, part of The Leprosy Mission Australia, sees people affected by leprosy and disability in a dignified light, recognising the discrimination and injustice they face every day. Their primary mission as an organisation is to eliminate the stigma and discrimination associated with leprosy while working alongside individuals affected by leprosy. The Shop supports this by generating profit to support the work of The Leprosy Mission, while providing dignified income for artisans living in poverty, as well as making a positive impact to the environment by promoting sustainable products and reducing the harmful footprints of supply chains.

The Role – Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Social Enterprise Manager, the Social Media Marketing Coordinator will oversee and uphold the online presence of The Leprosy Mission Shop. The position involves coordinating and implementing digital marketing campaigns through diverse channels, including email, social media, website, and paid advertising.

As Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including automated workflows and customer segmentation, with a focus on campaign optimisation through data analysis.
  • Managing campaigns across various channels, including Meta, Google Ads, display advertising, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborate
  • Support handling the digital budget, allocating resources according to specific channels.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research on digital marketing trends and technologies in the social enterprise and retail space.
  • Report on campaign ROI using analytics tools, provide regular updates
  • Collaborate with fundraising team to ensure consistency across organisation
  • Provide administrative support to the Social Enterprise Manager as needed.

Your Skills and Attributes

  • Graduate qualification in marketing, communication, or related field
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative solutions within established frameworks
  • Content creation experience for web, social media, and advertising platforms
  • Familiarity of Google Ads and social media platforms
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
  • Positive mindset, collaborative approach, and openness to feedback
  • Strong preference for working with numbers and providing reports
