WWF’s global vision is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. WWF Australia is part of the WWF International Network, the world’s leading, independent conservation organisation. WWF partners with governments, businesses, communities, and individuals to address a range of pressing environmental issues.
Their work is founded on science, their reach is international, and their mission is exact – to create a world where people live and prosper in harmony with nature. For over five decades, WWF has been at the forefront of conservation efforts, striving to safeguard our planet's incredible biodiversity and address pressing environmental challenges.
Are you passionate about environmental advocacy and skilled in communications? WWF Australia is seeking a dynamic Advocacy Campaigns Engagement Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will play a critical role in advancing their conservation goals through strategic advocacy and impactful communications by mobilising supporters and stakeholders and contributing to driving brand awareness and the generation of income across the revenue portfolio.
As the Advocacy Campaigns Engagement Manager, you will take the lead in collaborating with the Conservation, Government Relations, and Fundraising teams to create and oversee comprehensive campaign strategies aimed at mobilising supporters. This involves crafting campaign plans, generating campaign briefs for various internal teams and external partners, and collaborating with Fundraising teams to identify opportunities for seamless integration.
This role requires the successful candidate to demonstrate advocacy experience with proven campaign development skills. A deep interest for conservation is a must and exemplary stakeholder engagement skills, to be able to bring people together to reach campaign milestones will also be critical. You will also be a real collaborator and strategic thinker.
