We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Assessment, Intake, and Treatment Worker to join our team at Headspace. You will play a crucial part in engaging with clients entering our service, providing initial intake, clinical assessments, and supporting them to fully engage with the Headspace program.

What you'll do:

  • Welcome new clients to headspace and conduct initial intake assessments.
  • Provide clinical assessments and offer brief interventions, and counselling.
  • Support clients through the Headspace program, managing referrals and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Create a youth-friendly environment and collaborate with other health professionals to develop group programs and workshops.

About you:

  • Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Social Welfare, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience in intake, assessment, and case management with a focus on youth mental health.
  • Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
