We are seeking a Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary Allied Health team. This specialist role is responsible for the provision of quality care and education to a diverse population of clients across the Ballarat region. The caseload is complex and includes clinical assessment and treatment, early intervention screenings, educational sessions, nail surgery and provision of orthoses.

You will be fully supported by an experienced podiatry and extended multidisciplinary team. Clinical supervision is provided, and ongoing professional development is encouraged. Support to undertake research and program evaluation within the position is also available.

Qualification and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry is essential.
  • Current registration with AHPRA is essential.
  • An understanding and commitment to the principles of community health and the social model of health
  • Sound theoretical knowledge base and the commitment to continuing Professional Development to ensure best practice/evidence-based interventions.
  • Well-developed clinical skills and demonstrated ability to support a coordinated approach by working with a range of stakeholders to improve health outcomes as agreed with your clients.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team, delivering podiatry services and further developing the service as new opportunities arise.
