About the role

• The hours of work vary and include weekday shifts, evening, and weekend shifts. Penalty rates apply.

We are seeking empathic, self-motivated support workers to work alongside a caring team on a 7 days per week roster in the Sutherland Region. As a member of the support team, you will ensure that clients are achieving their NDIS goals and continuing to build their capacity for everyday life.  

Duties will vary according to the participant's support plan but may include:

• Assisting people to perform important daily activities.
• Facilitating daily personal hygiene and dressing tasks.
• Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping.
• Ensuring varied programs of social activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Certificate III in Disability or equivalent and/or minimum 6 months relevant experience.
• Current First Aid Certificate, or willing to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willing to obtain.
• WWCC, or willing to obtain.
• Covid19 vaccination certificate
