The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. We support safe, professional practice and behaviour by Australia’s 800,000+ registered health practitioners. 

About the role 

Ahpra is undertaking a significant program of change and transformation. The People Data and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing, delivering and maintaining effective and fit for purpose dashboards, reports, extracts, visualisation and insightful analysis across the breadth of organisational reporting requirements.  

Working as part of the Organisational Capability within People and Culture, this role facilitates the development of effective and reliable people and culture data and information sources that enhance Ahpra’s people data and analytics capabilities and inform the development of a range of strategies consistent with Ahpra’s People Plan. 

Working with specialists within the People and Culture directorate and Technology directorate, the People Data and Analytics Specialist leverages data from across a range of People and Culture processes and functions, that contribute towards the development of insights across the breadth of the employee lifecycle and enable forecasting capabilities within the People and Culture directorate.

About you 

This is a specialist role with significant enterprise-wide impact.  Your ability to build collaborative and sustained diverse stakeholder partnerships and engage them in the service and operating model change journey are key success factors in the role. You have strong previous experience in reporting, and data management in the field of human resources giving you a deep understanding of workforce data, reporting and analytics and associated human resource systems and data structures.

Expertise in using PowerBI or similar would be an advantage coupled with a background working with HRIS systems.

As part of the Organisational Capability team, you will also be accountable for contributing to the development and delivery of a 5-year people strategy and ensuring business outcomes are aligned to the People Plan with input and ownership of key programs to support the achievement of the People and Culture delivery plan.
